I've used Speakonia since 2014 and is great for text to speech. I wish that CFS-Technologies would continue support for the software because it is very useful.

I've used Speakonia for years now and have tried other freeware, but I always come right back to Speakonia. The voice takes a bit of getting used to. It mispronounces words occassionally and spells out every word that's in caps which can get on your nerves, but otherwise it's a good software.
